When someone writes your name, it stands out for you (self-format), you hear a sound and get an action bar. A bare name only stands out for the player it names; @name is also highlighted for everyone (format).
require-at: true makes only @name count. {mention} = the name as written (@Name or Name), {name} = the player's name. Optional hover and click on the name (suggest:/msg {name} ). Your own name is never a mention.
@everyone pings everyone who sees the message (roodychat.mention.everyone, op).
Only players who can see the message are pinged (a staff channel does not ping players outside it).
/chattoggle mentions turns the ping off for yourself (the name is still highlighted).
