Give your players a compressor item: while it is turned on, full stacks are compressed automatically up a chain you design — 64 gold ingots → 1 gold block → 1 redstone block.
Build tiers that inherit each other, give each one its own look for on and off, and sell them in your shop: the item keeps its enchantments and lore and is recognised anywhere in the inventory.
No YAML needed: /rcomp opens an editor to create tiers, click-build recipes from your own inventory, add ready-made packs and change every setting.
