Kits

Each kit is a file kits/<id>.yml (the file name is its id), and everything in it can also be changed in the game:

  • Items in a 5-row grid, each in the slot where the preview shows it. They are saved with Minecraft's own format, so enchantments, names, lore, model data, leather colours, skull textures and shulker contents are kept exactly.
  • Name and description: one text, or one per language.
  • Icon in /kit, and optionally one icon per state (icons: available, cooldown, locked, used-up) with its own name and lore.
  • Permission: true = roodykits.kit.<id>, false = everyone, or your own permission.
  • Waiting time (cooldown: 30m, 24h, 7d) and uses (0 = no limit, 1 = only once).
  • Price through Vault (0 = free).
  • Given on join: auto: first-join (the first time a player joins the server) or join (every join), with the same checks as a claim and no price.
  • Tier sets (tiers: ['5']): their pieces come generated and keep updating themselves, with the set bonus.
  • Commands run when it is claimed, as the console or the player ({player}, {kit}, and PlaceholderAPI placeholders). Each one can show an item in the preview (or none); they are never given as items.
  • drop-items-when-full, slot (its place in /kit) and order.

kits/starter.yml explains every key. After editing a file by hand: /kit reload.
